#SL Japanische Literatur in Kaishi Chou Okiya & Hanamachi mit Michael Iwoleit & more!
Japanische Literatur in Kaishi Chou Okiya & Hanamachi mit Michael Iwoleit & more!
Interessant und vielseitig in sehr schönem Ambiente.
Was?
For a number of years I have has explored and written major essays about short fiction, first concentrating on the science fiction genre, now extending my work toward world literature in general. With a number of literary evenings in Second Life I will try to introduce major short story writers of 20th century world literature to new readers. Each event will be composed of a short biographical scetch of the respective writer, a lecture about his life and work and finally a story reading of some of his most representative works. As a story reader I have invited Thorsten Küper aka Kueperpunk Korhonen who is well-known as a performer and presenter at literary events in Second Life.
The first event of this series will be on Saturday, August 24th, 12:00 SLT / 21:00 CET, about the Japanese writer Ryunosuke Akutagawa who is best-known for inspiring Akira Kurosawa’s film classic Rashomon and is generally considered as a ground-braking author of modern Japanese literature. This literary evening will take place in the Kaishi Chou Okiya & Hanamachi, a beautiful recreation of a clssic Japanese village. The SLURL is http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ekaterina/45/61/22
